Alphabet Dating by Monique McDonell
I have a couple things to apologize for Firstly, that this posted before I finished it last week, Embarrassing. Secondly for being to busy from my trip to finish it before now.
This is a whole new way of blind dating. Image your friends decided to set you up on 26 different blind date in one month. while that is the new reality of Serena. Her best friends and twin sister (they all met in college when the twins decided to form an all-girl acapella group) now years later they are all still best friends and meet up for an annual girl’s weekend there’s only one thing that’s different about this year. Serena is the only single girl. Fueled by wine the girls come up with this crazy scheme to set their best friend up on a date for every letter of the alphabet. Also each guy will have to take her on a different date starting with the first letter of their name. Sounds crazy right well it is.
Serena discovers a lot during this experiment. She learns that she hasn’t really been living since the “accident” nor has she really confronted it. She also learns when she goes on these dates some good some horrible that many she needs to clear the air with her twin. Serena also learns that maybe the perfect man has been right in front of her all along.
This book is great! Although if my sister was setting me up on horrible dates I would have driven to her house and confronted her and get all up in her face because that’s what we do. I really think that the air should have been cleared a long time ago and all the people that did know should have gotten together and helped the sisters work this out instead of letting it simmer inside one twin. Yes, I understand why they waited to a point but that was just crazy and a horrible way to find out and how she made it seem like Serena was the bad guy oh I would have slapped her! Just saying. Now I bet you all want to know what went do in the great book, Hint it does has a happy ending although I wish there was another book.
I give this book 3 stars I loved reading it I think you all would enjoy it but it’s not something I just have to own but since I do I have picked it up a few other times and reread it.
Until next time. Read on and Enjoy!
