Book Boyfriend of the Month

Book Boyfriend of the Month

It’s that time of the month again!

It’s time to share who your favorite Book Boyfriend of the month!

This month I have to say my book boyfriend is Matthew Glass.

His Fingers touched mine. Tingling warmth washed up my arm. I pulled away and would have walked off if he hadn’t spoken.

The word was as soft as a breath. No one but me could have heard it. The plea in his eyes pinched my heart and had me wondering if he was referring to staying for a drink or staying at his house.

“I can’t.”

I just finished reading The Magician’s Dairy and OMG! this was the best book yet! And the ending between Matt and India! Oh I can’t wait to see what happens between them next. Matt Glass is a rough and tough American who has traveled over to England with one thought in mind. To find Chronos a watchmaker magician to fix his magical watch. Instead he finds India who’s father just passed and has been kicked out of her home by her now ex-fiancée. Matt is not like most men who shy away from the strong minded and quick tongue of India Steele. And more then that she may be the key to fixes his watch and my just Steele his heart. (hahaha I’m being punny)

Read Book 1 The Watchmaker’s Daughter (Glass and Steele Series) by C.J. Archer

Book Boyfriend of the Month

It’s the first Wednesday of the month! You know what that means!!!

It’s time to share who your favorite Book Boyfriend of the month!

This month I have to say my book boyfriend is Jake Dubois.

“She turned her head to look at Jake. He had pulled out the Handkerchief she had returned to him and held it to his nose with an elated expression. Then he looked full at her, eyes ablaze with laughter. ‘My handkerchief never had this nice little stitched edge, my lady. Whatever you did with the stained one, this one is brand new.’ “

He is a investigative journalist from the 1920’s and he makes me swoon! He can even cook. Though sometimes I wish he would just get over Alkmene’s title already. It gets annoying but every character needs flaws. I like how Jake treats Alkmene more then just a lady. he takes her thoughts and ideas and listens to her. Though he is quick to point out her mistakes and flaws, like not knowing how to do laundry. I think they are so cute together.

Check the book out today and gush over it with me because if you can’t tell I’m obsessing over this series! To the point where frankly I’m starting to Bear Ass (embarrass) myself.

Until Next Time! Read On and Enjoy!

Underland by Chanda Hahn. Long ago, before humans forgot them for all eternity, monsters and immortals retreated below ground to seek shelter. But what do the Greek Gods do when they’re bored? They bring back the Olympic games–only a lethal version. The newest contender in these bigger, deadlier games is a young human girl they kidnapped from the streets above. For Kira Lier, it’s kill or be killed as she races against beasts she thought were just myths, to cross the finish line and win a chance to earn her freedom. (My Review)

Although each death is different, the result is the same: a life is saved, and Jesse resurrects days later with sore muscles, new scars, and another hole in her memory. But when Jesse is murdered and becomes the sole suspect in a federal investigation, more than her freedom and sanity are at stake. She must catch the killer herself–or die trying. (Free eBook)

Fear University by Meg Collett – I’ve always known I was a monster, and I don’t mean some teenage vampire shit either. My mother abandoned me when I was ten years old because I have a freakish mutant disease that makes me incapable of feeling pain. I bounced from one foster family to another because too many people like to test my medical condition in a game of “Try To Make Ollie Scream.” At sixteen, I killed a man for taking that game too far. Two years later, I’m still on the run in Kodiak, Alaska. Here, I’m the most dangerous person around, until I come face to face with a creature that should only exist in folklore. The monster is an aswang, and I, with my medical anomaly, am uniquely qualified to hunt the beast that haunts the night. At least, that’s what the two scarred, mostly crazy ’swang hunters tell me when they kidnap me and take me to Fear University, a school where young students learn to hunt and kill aswangs. I arrive at the university a prisoner, but I stay because I finally find my freedom. For once in my life, I belong. I’m needed. I make a home for myself inside the university masquerading as an old Alaskan prison. Something close to happiness warms my icy heart when I’m with my scarred, still mostly crazy tutor, Luke Aultstriver. For a murdering runaway like me, Fear University is a haven where I can put my skills to good use hunting monsters in the night. But when certain truths come to light and even more lies are exposed, I fear that I, Ollie Andrews, am the worst kind of monster of all. And, maybe, they should be hunting me. —> Amazon Link<—

It’s going to take time and a fat wallet to restore the fixer-upper to its former glory, but after her recent divorce, Peyton could use the distraction. Halfway Dead (Halfway Witchy Book 1) by Terry Maggert Carlie McEwan loves many things. She loves being a witch. She loves her town of Halfway, NY—a tourist destination nestled on the shores of an Adirondack lake. Carlie loves her enormous familiar, Gus, who is twenty-five pounds of judgmental Maine Coon cat, and she positively worships her Grandmother, a witch of incredible power and wisdom. Carlie spends her days cooking at the finest—and only—real diner in town, and her life is a balance between magic and the mundane, just as she likes it. When a blonde stranger sits at the diner counter and calls her by name, that balance is gone. Major Pickford asks Carlie to lead him into the deepest shadows of the forest to find a mythical circle of chestnut trees, thought lost forever to mankind. There are ghosts in the forest, and one of them cries out to Carlie across the years. Come find me.
Danger, like the shadowed pools of the forest, can run deep. The danger is real, but Carlie’s magic is born of a pure spirit. With the help of Gus, and Gran, and a rugged cop who really does want to save the world, she’ll fight to bring a ghost home, and deliver justice to a murderer who hides in the cool, mysterious green of a forest gone mad with magic. The Fertile Vampire (The Montgomery Chronicles Book 1) by Karen Ranney- Okay, so she’d dated a vampire. Maybe she got carried away one night. Becoming a vampire seemed a high price to pay for being foolish. Nor was this whole transformation thing starting off the way it was supposed to for Marcie Montgomery. She was hungry all the time – not for blood, but tacos and french fries and cheeseburgers, oh my. Then there was Niccolo Maddock, the Master Vampire who was acting as her mentor. Just what did he want? Going from being an insurance adjuster to a vampire could confuse the most level headed person and Marcie had always considered herself a pragmatist. Even when she was faced with relatives who weren’t who they’d always been, witches who were out to annihilate her, and the stunning knowledge of her own powers. Add in werewolves, shape shifters, and other Brethren and life in South Texas suddenly became very complicated. When Marcie discovered she alone could transform the vampire race, she was faced with a choice: to embrace who she was or change her destiny.
Why should anything be easy? This book will have you laughing OUT LOUD! I couldn’t put it down! —>Book Review <—

***Bonus: Any Witch Way You Can (The Wicked Witches of the Midwest book 1) by Amanda M. Lee- This series almost always makes my Must Reading Lists because they are such Amazingly funny and Captivating reads. I just want to crawl in these books and live in Hemlock Cove myself. Even with Aunt Tillie putting curses on everyone. These books will having laughing so HARD. Warning you now incase you’re reading it in public. Bay Winchester is having a tough week. As the local editor of Hemlock Cove’s only newspaper, she just happens to be present when a body is found in an area corn maze. To make matters worse, the police believe the murder may have something to do with the occult. This wouldn’t be a problem for a normal reporter, but since Bay is descended from a well-known line of actual witches, the town is understandably on edge. Between the suspicious townspeople, the befuddled police presence and that random hot biker guy that may or may not have something to do with the murder — Bay has her hands full. When you add the typical family problems, multiplying ghosts — and one monster of a zit that she’s sure came from her aunt’s curse — Bay is just struggling to make it through the week. Of course, when the killer sets his sights on Bay, things could get a whole lot worse. —> Book Review<—

BWP: Laughing

Book Worm Problem: Laughing Out Loud in Public

Tilt view close-up of woman sitting on white couch and giggling as she hold a book up to her face. Horizontal format.

Like you bookworms I have often gotten absorbed into the book I was reading and busted out laughing at the humorous situations the characters have gotten themselves into. I just shake it off most of the time on that I’m, but when I happened while I was younger I would get so embarrassed and I would try hiding behind my book although that would leave the tittle of the book showing and sometimes that would make it worse. (One of the guys in my class read the cover of my book one and shouted “Morgan! What kind of book are you reading?” I happened to be reading the first book of the Jessica Darling series. ‘Nough said right!”) My favorite time in English class would be those first ten minutes were we would be “forced” to have quite reading time. While most of the class groaned at the beginning of the class I would pout at the end when he would make me put my book away.

One day during my 10 grade English class I happened to reading an EXTERMLY hilarious book. The main character was CRAZY! She was always getting into these INSANE situation. Like having to shave her head after a bad haircut even though she was going on a first date THAT night! Let’s just say I was trying to keep my laughs in. I was trying so hard that I had tears streaming down my face! The boy I happened to have a major crush kept tapping me on my shoulder asking me if I was okay. I was covering my mouth with one hand my face hurting from the wide grin plastered to my face while I was trying to wave him off with the other hand! Finally I broke down and under covered my mouth laughing so loud the whole class turned to look at me. I just shrugged and said “I’m sorry but this girl is INSANE!” My Best Friend at that time smiles and nods because she had just finished the book the week before. She totally understood what I was going through!

So my point is we’ve all been there and there’s nothing to feel ashamed of! In fact write an amazing review for that author and mention the story along with it! They we appreciate it and they might even reply back to you! And Then recommend the book to your friends! In fact please share a book that has made you LOL for reals down in the comments I love hearing from you. And more importantly I LOVE getting Book Recommendations!

Until Next Time! Read on and Enjoy!

Book Boyfriends of the Month

It’s July and it’s been a while since I’ve posted a book boyfriend post due to my horrible morning sickness that has become so much better now. And what better way to celebrate not feeling sick anymore then posting about some HOT HOT HOTTIES!

aurora Sky Vampire Hunter First up on the list Fane from the Aurora Sky Vampire Hunter series. I’m sad but overjoyed to say that the LAST book of the series is coming out this month but it has been a great run reading about Aurora and Fane. Fane isn’t your average book boyfriend for one he is a vampire and second he really does have horrible hair. I cringe every time I read about that little detail, but he’s personality and absolute sexiness exceeds the need for prefect hair. lol. Fane is bad ass and will do anything to make sure Aurora is safe even if she’s pushing him away and right now as I’m rereading the series I can’t help but fall in love with him again. It’s a great series to get hooked on! Start reading today! My Book Review HERE! Free eBook

Next on the my book boyfriend list is another new one for me because he is a little younger then most of my book boyfriends but is totally sweet and if my daughter ends up with a book friend like him I wouldn’t be able to say no to her. Keefe from the Keepers of the Lost Cities series is one of my new obsessions. I love Love LOVE these books! seriously if you have a little nieces birthday coming up get her these books and read them with her because these YA books are prefect for any age. Truly a work of art and Keefe is a good bad boy we all had the hots for back in the day. And when they share their sweet little moments it takes you back to the day where you had your first crush. you know what I’m talking about! Buy Link!

Now, it’s Lucian’s turn from the Cassidy Edwards series. This badass black warlock will steal your heart the moment he makes Cassidy part of his team as a spellfinder. their chemistry is off the charts and it’s great entrainment to watch them try to fight it. I wish they would fight it but if they didn’t the moments when they lose control and give into each wouldn’t be so well hot! If you’re looking for a book with plenty of steamy kisses looking no further because this is the PREFECT book! See my book review right HERE! KindleUnlimited

Fourth we have Evan my newest book boyfriend from Touched The Caress of Fate. Sigh, he is an angel of death and is deathly hot! And only has eyes for dear sweet Gemma although he loses a few bonus points for making her think she’s going crazy. I mean come on! That’s just not cool! You can’t do that to the women you love and then of course I look over at my husband and realize that well all men drive us crazy hers was just a little more unfortunate. Throughout the book we watch as Evan struggles with his duty, orders, and the love he has for Gemma. Let’s just say after reading this book I wouldn’t mind having my own angel of death watching over me… well as long as he’s like Evan. Buy Link! KindleUnlimited

And Finally. William from The Dusk Gate Chronicles Omnibus. William is very distance at first and tries to keep Quinn at arms length after the she follows him through the gate. I mean Will has worked really hard trying to keep himself from making links to her world and making sure no one finds the gate and now here she is just walking right on through like she didn’t just make he’s life incredible difficult. And then Quinn finds out the quite bookworm from school is actually a prince and a doctor. While let’s just say don’t judge a book by the cover. Open that book up and make it tell you all of it’s secrets. Buy Link! KindleUnlimited!

April Book Boyfriends

Hey my fellow bookworms. I know this is a LONG awaited list because I didn’t have time last month to finish my list. Sometimes my mommy duties just get in the way of thing that I need to get done. On this list we will see some of my old but favorite book boyfriends as they have had a new book come out recently but don’t worry I got some new hot book boyfriends to get your attention too,

unleash the storm Ash from the Steel and Stone series. (KINDLEUNLIMITED) Ash is no stranger to this list. Ash is a hot and badass draconian who will do anything to protect those he cares about. He helps Piper in her quest to find and then use the Sahar to protect her friends and family from Samuel the Underworld Ruler. Ash and Piper don’t trust each other at first but I love watching their romance bloom throughout the pages of the Steel and Stone series. it helps that they have a lot od steamy kissing scenes. The last book come out last month the final installment of the series came out and even though I wish it would have end a little differently I know that Piper and Ash don’t have a typical relationship. Never have so I guess its okay with me… ig. Get to know Ash my absolute FAVORITE book boyfriends today by reading Book 1 Chase the Dark! My review HERE!

Nathan Young from Ignited Series. I’m not ashamed to say it but I totally cheated on the pervious boyfriend with this one. I could put the book down even though Ash’s book had come out. I think part of it was I wasn’t ready for the series to be over but it helped that Nathan the hot Kala fighter was keeping my attention throughout the Ignited series. Nathan is part god I mean how could that not keep my attention not to mention there were lots of other Kala’s, Skotadi’s and Demigods to keep me focused on this series. But Nathan will steal your heart. Even when he tries to push you away you just get swept right back into his arms and you’ll never want to leave. He tries to fight his attraction towards Kris but he can’t help it and they have so many cute and tender moments that you’ll enjoy! Read my Review Here!

Gansey from The Raven Cycle. Gansey is no stranger to this list! Gansey gets off on the wrong foot with Blue but you can’t help but love him. You’ll be rooting for him the whole time even while Blue struggles to fight it. Their non-kissing scenes are better then most kissing scenes I’ve read NO JOKE! Talk about heart pounding sitting at the edge of your seats good. Gansey gets a spot on the list because I’m rereading the series right now to prepare for the moment I’ve been waiting for over a year for. That’s right the Raven King is Coming! I’m ready for Blue and Gansey to finally kiss and see what else is going to happen in this book! Read My Review HERE.

Keefe From Kepper of the Lost Cities series. This is a new series I’m So in LOVE with right now! I can’t wait to write a book review for you over the Keepers of the Lost Cities. Seriously this series is AMAZING! So in Love with the whole Elvin world that Shannon Messenger Created. I’m so happy that my friend Carolyn introduced me to this series! Keefe is my man! I love how he is ALWAYS there for Sophie no matter what and is always coming up with these crazy and totally out there plans. I just finished book 4 Neverseen and I’m like really! I have to wait until November to find out what happens to Keefe and Sophie and all her friends. I’m going crazy right now. This book is very YA Sophie starts the series at age 12 so there’s no big kissing scenes. But I’m still #teamkeefe. You can start this series with book one Keeper of the Lost Cities Here!

Zeke from Underland. Of Chanda Hahn you did it again. You’ve got me hooked on another series and this team you have me falling for a creature I’ve NEVER thought I would, until this year when I started to watch iZombie. That’s right people. the love interest is a Zombie only they are called Zeke’s. and yeah that’s what his name is too. Zeke starts off kind of creepy because he acts like he wants to eat Kira because well she’s human and that’s food to him but he ends up protecting her and helping her in the death game she finds herself in. He is such a sweetie too. He makes you want to find a Hammock and invite him to snuggle with you. Even though he could totally eat you while your sleeping but you know he won’t because he is just so amazing and sweet and knows how to kiss! Yes there is ONE steamy kiss in the book and it will leave you wanting MORE!! Check out My Review Here!

prank wars Prank Wars All war. No love. Madeleine’s been hurt too many times in the dating scene to let Byron beat her in some huge prank war. They’ve had their deserters, their POWS, their casualties, but no one can risk losing the battle of the sexes.
Except now something strange is happening at the college…and it’s not just the students. Buried deep beneath the pranks is real danger, and the only other person who suspects is Byron. Should Mad join sides with him or does that mean forfeiting her heart to the enemy? In this fun-filled novel, Prank Wars invites the reader to experience a BYU culture rich with hilarity and ofttimes zany way of life where the unexpected can and will happen. A mix of mystery, comedy, action, and clean romance; it’s girls vs. boys in a hilarious prank war that pits the college students against their nemeses. When some of the pranks start getting dangerous, can the two enemies join forces to capture the culprit? (KindleUnlimited) Love this book! I really enjoyed it! It’s a read in one day kind of book! You’ll want to buy this one.

Imaginary Enemy  Jane White goes by the pen name Gabriel when she writes letters to Bubba, her imaginary enemy. She’s been writing to Bubba (short for Beelzebub) since second grade, blaming him every time something in her life goes wrong. It’s never her fault! She doesn’t want to admit that her impetuous behavior and smart-mouthed comments often land her in trouble. And now that she’s a teenager, Jane’s slacker ways exude an I-don’tcare attitude. But Jane does care. She cares about fitting in at school; she cares that Sharp deMichael and his brothers next door think of her as normal and start excluding her from their offbeat plans; and she definitely cares the day she receives a letter from Bubba. How can an imaginary enemy write back? Just as the time comes for Jane to face her lifelong foe–she must also decide whether or not to assume responsibility for her actions. – I love this book! It’s creative and sweet! You’ll Love Jane and her friend Sharp and of course Bubba.

Snatched– Is an uncomplicated divorce and a fresh start at forty too much to ask? Apparently it is for Lucy Narby, whose life goes from blah to bizarro when competing kidnappers lock horns in her kitchen. And really, does the victor have to be that hot? If this is the Stockholm syndrome, it sure didn’t take her long to catch it! Lucy’s kidnapper calls himself Will but looks suspiciously like ’80s child TV star Ricky Baines, whose acting career was cut short when he himself was snatched and held for ransom 25 years ago in a notorious cold case that remains unsolved. Will’s gang includes an aging French bombshell, an outlandish Irish giant with a mysterious past and a thing for Will’s sister, and long-lost Cousin Hal—a charming fellow who neglects to mention that he happens to be the twisted sociopath who kidnapped Will when he was still America’s favorite little star. Hal spent the past quarter century in the slammer for an unrelated murder, and now he’s out and determined to locate the $2 million ransom Will’s family paid. Someone else dug up the cash while Hal was behind bars, and that sort of thing tends to make twisted sociopaths a tad grouchy. Fortunately (or not), Lucy’s bigamous ex is on the case. But so are a gay private eye in a fat suit and a bad-tempered parrot with an ax to grind, so no worries. Everyone has a secret and no one is who he seems when Kidnap Fever strikes.— Great read for the older crowd! Full of fun twists and turns! Get ready for this crazy story where many different lives intertwine
